Floreant Pos

What is Floreant Pos and what is it used for?

Floreant POS started in 2008 when Dennys Restaurant in Oneonta, NY hired our team to update their database. In 2009, the source code was published in the public domain and in 2010, the software included Java POS support and turn-based pricing, partial payment and kitchen printer.

Floreant is an open source POS application from Orocube LLC. It’s a project that started eight years ago, since then it has become a POS system that can support third-party commercial plug-ins. Floreant POS is so robust that it can run on a variety of platforms such as Windows and Mac.

It is so flexible that it can be customized to suit the needs of a company. They can improve the system by adding add-ons or adding more features. The establishments can do the latter alone, but Floreant POS offers this service to ensure that the system will continue to operate smoothly after the deployment of the changes.

In addition, Floreant POS was designed with the needs of restaurants and hotel establishments in mind. But the system also supports use by educational institutions and retail stores. Floreant has been shared across all download sites, including CNET Download, ZDNet and SF.net.

In sf.net alone it has more than 122,000 downloads with a growth of 200% in recent years. Floreant POS has been customized and adopted in famous store chains, including Louisiana Famous Fried Chicken, Parkway Pizza, Mini Delights, Monalisa Paraguay, Cinco E S.A.S and more.
